SpecterInsight is designed to emulate adversary threat activity for red teaming, training, and penetration testing engagements with organization that have authorized that activity for legitimate business purposes.
Export Compliance
SpecterInsight by Practical Security Analytics LLC is controlled by U.S. export regulations and we ensure compliance with all U.S. laws and the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations. The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued a Commodity Classification Request determination to Practical Security Analytics LLC classifying SpecterInsight under Export Classification Number (ECCN) 5D002.c.3.a. This classification dictates the circumstances, countries, and types of end-users to which Practical Security Analytics LLC may export SpecterInsight. Practical Security Analytics LLC only allows sales and trials that comply with these restrictions. Additionally, Practical Security Analytics LLC reports all export sales and trials of SpecterInsight to the U.S. Government in accordance with the Export Administration Regulation section 740.17(e).
Practical Security Analytics LLC has established a comprehensive export compliance program to comply with U.S. export control regulations. This program is designed to prevent fraud and deny malicious use of SpecterInsight by cyber threat actors.
As part of this program, Practical Security Analytics LLC:
- Completed Commodity Classification Request to classify SpecterInsight under ECCN 5D002.c.3.a.
- Screen all sales and trials for signs of subterfuge and other red flags.
- Screen all export requests against prohibited party lists to include OFAC Specially Designated Nationals List.
- Conduct an assessment for each export request prior to approval taking into consideration factors such as end-use cases, geographic location, and company details.
- Requires customer agreement to Practical Security Analytics LLC’s End User License Agreement for SpecterInsight which covers ethical use of the product.
